The Flying Otter Grill is seeking a full-time Assistant Manager to join its amazing team

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Cultivate a positive and safe work environment, leading by example and displaying a genuine passion to providing memorable guest experiences.
- Ensure and organize the ongoing training of all front-of-house team members.
- Management of hiring, onboarding, performance management, scheduling, and payroll
- Responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant.
- Ensure guest satisfaction and build a loyal customer base.
- Address guest concerns, seeking positive resolutions.
- Demonstrate a high level of team spirit and be ready to jump in to assist the team whenever needed, including running food orders, processing payment, and clearing tables.
- Assist the General Manager with scheduling, POS systems, payroll, general administrative duties
- Liaison with marketing for social media/promotions
- Manage restaurant in the absence of the General Manager.
- All other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Must have experience in hiring, onboarding, and scheduling
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
- Must be professional, with a positive and team-oriented attitude and attention to detail.
- Strong computer and office administration skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to perform calmly in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evening, weekends and holidays.
- Serving it Right certification required.
- SuperHost certification is considered an asset.
