If you are looking for a new challenge focused around interacting with others in a meaningful way...If you enjoy being surrounded by the liveliness of great sights, sounds, people, and delicious smells...If you want to be a part of an amazing team of passionate individuals in a supportive work environment...If you are looking for more than 'just a job', but to be a part of something meaningful...and if now you’re thinking “How do they know this about me?" - then, we want to meet you Day Supervisor Responsibilities: - Responsible to oversee daily front of house opening procedures ensuring each day is set for success - Manages the flow of the door/restaurant during Monday-Friday lunch service - Works closely with Managers to maximizes restaurant seating through thoughtful planning & seating rotation - Upholds cleanliness of work areas from floor to ceiling - Monitors table availability and plans future seating assignments during service periods - Answers phones, assists Guests with reservations or inquiries - Operates a waitlist when no seats are immediately available - Sets the tone of excellent service with each Guest interaction - Learns Guest names & preferences to provide caring, individualized service - Communicates with Servers & Managers providing seamless service - Takes every opportunity to create Moments of Truth - Assists in execution of Take-out program (from placing to completing curb-side hand-off) - Sets up & maintains cleanliness of front desk and entryway throughout shift - Facilitates Gift Card sales - Performs daily/weekly cleaning & maintenance duties - Responsible for ensuring uniform standards are being adhered to by the Host Team - Manages uniform inventory Day Supervisor Qualifications: - You get excited about leaving a positive impression or making someone's day - You are available to work some daytimes, as well as evenings, weekends & holidays, in a part or full-time capacity - You have minimum 1 year of previous Customer Service or Host experience - You are comfortable working with computers and may have experience with Open Table - You are professional and have strong leadership & communication skills - You thrive in a fast-paced environment & are able to work on your feet for extended periods - You have strong organization & time management skills - You take initiative & you never turn your head from a standard - You may have your Smart Serve certification (would be an asset) - You are able to make a minimum one (1) year commitment to our team - You may be interested in growth opportunities Day Supervisor Earnings & Perks: - $20.00-23.00 per Hour - Team Member Dining Discounts - Health & Life Benefits available - Comprehensive initial & ongoing training provided - Career growth & ongoing development opportunities - Flexible schedules - Team initiatives & events - Positive, supportive & inclusive team culture - Working with an excellent team of fellow service & management pros Beertown Public House is a concept of the Charcoal Group of Restaurants (an independent company of huge greatness & winner of Food Service Canada’s 2019 Independent Restauranteur of the Year Award).
