Burlington, Canada Best Western Plus Burlington Inn & Suites Full time

The Best Western Plus Burlington Inn & Suites is seeking a professional, dynamic, friendly and detail oriented Guest Service Agent to join our team. Guest Service Agents report to the Front Office Manager and General Manager.

*Two shifts 8 hour shifts Thursday & Friday*
- Welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Verify all information at check-in.
- Safely and accurately handle cash or credit card information.
- Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, debit, or credit. Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges.
- Answer telephones and guest inquiries
- Offer assistance to guests in regards to hotel amenities and nearby attractions (restaurants, attractions, directions, transportation, etc.)
- Handle all guest requests promptly and effectively.
- Establish and maintain rapport with guest during check in and duration of stay
- Problem-solving guests’ concerns and proactively exceeding guest expectations
- Run audit and balance accounts at end of day.
- Input rooming lists into system.
- Coordinate with other departments to give guests best experience possible.
- Follow all safety policies.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:MUST have flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays) ** At least 1 year front desk/hotel/customer service experience required
- **Proficient in the English language (verbal and written); second language an asset.**:

- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administration skills.
- Present a high degree of professional work ethic and image.
- Able to take control of situation and problem solve.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $16.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
