Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Equipment Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. As the Equipment Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance and servicing of our equipment, ensuring optimal performance and cost control, while minimizing downtime. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of maintenance practices will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our equipment. **Responsibilities**:
**Equipment Maintenance Coordination**:

- Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance, repairs, and servicing of equipment.
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule and track maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or similar tools.
- Monitor equipment performance and initiate maintenance requests based on predetermined schedules or emerging issues.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and servicing, including work performed, parts used, and costs.

**Inventory Management**:

- Monitor and manage equipment inventory, ensuring availability of necessary parts, tools, and supplies for maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to order and replenish equipment parts and supplies.
- Conduct regular audits of equipment and parts inventory to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and supplies.

**Compliance and Documentation**:

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintenance protocols, and industry standards.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of equipment manuals, maintenance procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with the safety team to implement and enforce safety protocols for equipment maintenance activities.
- Assist in developing and updating maintenance procedures and protocols to align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports on equipment maintenance activities, including metrics such as downtime, repair costs, and equipment availability.

Qualifications:
**Education & Work Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in maintenance management, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in equipment maintenance coordination, administration, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in equipment maintenance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with maintenance technicians, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and respond to equipment maintenance emergencies as required.
