We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Associate to manage the packaging and handling of all incoming and outgoing shipments in our warehouse. The shift begins at 2:00 PM and continues until the end of the shift.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Product Coordination**:

- Manage the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of all products arriving at World Meats.
- Oversee the shipping, packaging, sorting, and distribution of outgoing deliveries.

**Inspection and Documentation**:

- Follow inspection protocols to ensure products meet specifications, including weighing, sorting, unpacking, and storage.
- Prepare accurate shipping documents.
- Verify Bills of Lading against Purchase Orders to ensure correct quantities and weights are received.

**Warehouse Organization**:

- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Keep the receiving area orderly.
- Correctly store products/supplies for easy access.
- Safely lift, carry, and move products in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.

- Maintain collaborative working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and external stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, providing clear instructions or information.

**Work Ethic**:

- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Prioritize personal safety and the safety of others at all times.

**Problem-Solving**:

- Analyze equipment malfunctions and report to the appropriate personnel.
- Address delivery or documentation issues and resolve any related concerns or requests.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 70 lbs.
- Work comfortably in cold environments (-10 to +4 degrees Celsius).
- Stand for extended periods.

**Adaptability**:

- Follow appropriate methods and policies to maintain a well-organized shipping and receiving area.
- Be flexible and adaptable to changes in schedules and tasks.

- Mississauga, ON L5L 1A3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

- Shipping & receiving: 5 years (preferred)
- Food Manufacturing: 3 years (preferred)
