**We are looking for an experienced Graphic Design Program Instructor to join our team**

The main responsibilities of the Instructor will be to motivate the students, by creating a warm and engaging learning environment in the classroom The Instructor is also responsible for providing quality instruction and facilitating student learning according to the prescribed curriculum.

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivering lectures that meet module and program objectives as set out in the curriculum
- Evaluating student performance fairly and consistently
- Contributing to the development of curriculum and instructional materials
- Supporting the administrative functions of the campus to enhance the student experience
- Participating in College and Program Activities

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary teaching experience, related to the programs we deliver, considered an asset
- Degree from a recognized University or College in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of current, relevant, and demonstrated industry success
- Membership with a recognized design association considered an asset
- Relevant industry skills and knowledge relating to the area of instruction, including ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
- Online teaching experience and familiarity with teaching technology considered an asset
- Ability to prepare, deliver and administer relevant and applied course material
- Excellent communication and interaction skills, both oral and written
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to deliver interactive and experiential classes

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 35 per week

**Salary**: $35.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burnaby, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Graphic design: 3 years (preferred)
