Trans4 Group Ltd is looking for an Operations Supervisor to organize and coordinate our dispatch and office operations. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety. The Office manager should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operation.
**Responsibilities**
- Communicate effectively with drivers, terminal and dispatch staff regarding equipment and load arrivals, departures and requirements, and to ensure customers are notified about any load delays.
- Responsible for safe completion of all required tasks and functions during each shift to ensure the continued operation flow.
- Oversee communications with client, and ensure highest level of customer service is provided.
- Ensure all security policies are followed by staff
- Responsible for necessary administrative tasks relevant to the role.
- Support training of new hires and current staff
- Other general duties as required by the position.
**Requirements and skills**
- Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain Management or similar background in logistics or transportation is preferred
- 3+ years minimum experience in a transportation and managerial role is preferred
- Able to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional evenings and weekends
- Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate excellent customer service relations
- Strong written and oral communication skills are essential
- Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient at working with Microsoft Excel, and has ability to work with TMS software and GPS technology
**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Brampton, ON L6S 6K9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- transportation: 3 years (preferred)
