**Medical Affairs - Department of Emergency Medicine**
The Administrative Assistant supports the Department Head of Emergency Medicine and is responsible for coordinating and managing administrative functions for the Program, providing executive-level support to Physician Leadership. Additionally, this position entails senior administrative support, demanding discernment and diplomacy to uphold the efficiency of a senior management office. Responsibilities span operational activities and coordinating various initiatives. This role a key contact for the program and serves as a communication hub for program projects, processes, and support.
**Regular Full-Time**
**Rate of Pay**: $27.54 to $34.42 per hour
**Hours of Work**: 37.5 hours per week
**Qualifications**:
- Successful completion of a 2-year college Diploma in Medical, Executive or Office Administration, or as acceptable by the Hospital
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience
- Experience using technology to enhance and process efficiency and workflow
- Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization; experience dealing with leadership and senior executives
- Ability to identify opportunities and strategies to enhance process efficiency and workflow
- Project management skills and fiscal knowledge
- Leadership and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
- Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC

- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
