**Our Team**
Our Newfoundland and Labrador Operations are an integrated mining, milling, and processing operation. Nickel concentrate from the fly-in, fly-out Voisey’s Bay operation is shipped to our state-of-art Long Harbour Processing Plant where it is refined into low-carbon and high-purity nickel rounds, cobalt rounds and copper cathodes.
The Integrated Planning team supports all Site Operations and asset repair requirements to maintain a safe and productive operation. Direct engagement with various departments allows the team to efficiently plan and organize required work scopes for all aspects of installations, repairs, and modifications to site assets.
**The Opportunity**

This is guided by an adjacency principle that first gives preference to those who live on the coast of Labrador, followed by those residing in the rest of Labrador, those residing on the island of the province, followed by the rest of Canada._**

We are currently seeking a **Mobile Maintenance** **Long-Range Planner **to join our **Integrated Planning **department in **St. John’s, NL**. This is a permanent position.
**_ This position will work a Monday to Friday schedule based in the St. John’s Office with occasional vites to the Voisey’s Bay Mine Site_**_._**
The Mobile Maintenance Long-Range Planner will support our surface and underground mobile fleet at the Voisey’s Bay Mine Site. The Long-Range Planner will develop maintenance plans and schedules for mobile equipment while incorporating safe working condition criteria, production targets, and forecasting the appropriate resources to complete safe work**. **The Long-Range Planner will be responsible for long-term plans including development of long-range plans for heavy duty and underground mobile equipment, working closely with equipment vendors, planning major component rebuilds / overhauls, supporting 52 Week Map development, etc. Additionally, in this position, you will:
- Coordinate with Mine Technical Services, Mine Engineering and Operations to support the long-range plans / 52-week maps.
- Review and prioritize maintenance work requirements with other team members, vendors, and operations.
- Identification and expediting of long lead critical parts / materials.
- Create and continually update maintenance programs, schedules, and equipment parts lists.
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance contractors.
- Assist in developing mine maintenance budgets.
- Transition of long-range work to short range planning / execution teams.
**About You**
**Education**:
- **Post-secondary education is required.**
- **Interprovincial Red Seal in Heavy Duty Equipment Technician is preferred.**
**Experience**:
- **5-7 years of experience in a similar role related to maintenance planning and scheduling.**:
- **General knowledge in the operation of a Heavy Equipment and Mining repair facilities and or U/G Mining.**:
- **General knowledge of an Underground Mining Operation.**:
- **Strong computer usage skills in SAP, BMS, Microsoft Products (Excel, Outlook, Word), Business Objects, Manufacturer Technical Online Support Services, etc.**
**Skills**:
- Ability to make decisions.
- Ability to prioritize work.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Good knowledge of mobile equipment repair.
