About the Role:

We are seeking four (4) Project Planners / Schedulers to develop, implement, and maintain engineering, procurement, and construction schedules for multiple capital programs. You will report to the Planning Supervisor and work closely with project managers to ensure timelines are met and accurate dates maintained.

The successful candidate will be an experienced planner with strong skills in schedule development, analysis, and reporting. They will demonstrate the ability to coordinate across multiple projects, proactively address risks or delays, and maintain clear communication with project teams and stakeholders. Experience in capital project environments, outage planning, and the use of Primavera software is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain capital project schedules and milestones for reporting.
  • Identify outage requirements and coordinate with operations teams.
  • Maintain schedules and communicate changes to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project teams to link critical activities and outages across multiple projects.
  • Conduct engineering labor analysis and resource leveling for future capital projects.
  • Validate construction sequences, methodologies, material lead times, and task durations.
  • Develop selective activity duration verification and contingencies for future project plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Business/Commerce or Engineering Degree, Technologist, or equivalent in planning/scheduling.
  • Knowledge of capital planning techniques and Primavera.
  • Utilities or industrial field experience in a capital project environment is an asset.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Please note that you may be required to work in an industrial environment, requiring hands-on field supervision. This may include working at heights, dirty/dusty and noisy environments, and confined spaces. All personal protective equipment and site-specific training will be provided.
