**About Momiji Health Care Society**:
Momiji Health Care Society is a not-for-profit, charitable organization founded in 1978. Originally established to serve the Issei - the first generation of Japanese immigrants who settled in the Toronto area post WWII - we have grown over the past 35 years to become a premier organization offering a wide range of services for seniors, Nisei, and post-war immigrants throughout southern Ontario.
Our Momiji Centre, opened in 1992 after years of dedicated efforts, stands as a testament to our commitment to providing a harmonious and joyful space for seniors. In 2009, we were honoured to host their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan during their Canadian tour, solidifying our reputation as an organization of distinction.
