**The QUALITY INN WADDLING DOG, located in the Saanich Peninsula, is looking for a Night Auditor to join their front desk team**We are a family owned hotel, where we take great pride in the unique charm that this Inn has to offer. We provide a great working environment, competitive wages, as well as free staff meals, and employee rates at any Choice Hotel located throughout North America.

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking individual who loves to crunch numbers as well as provide exceptional customer service to our guests. The Night Auditor will be responsible for all end of day accounting functions. The ideal applicant should be capable of working autonomously while taking initiative for all necessary tasks.

**The shifts are from 11:00pm to 7:00am - Please make sure these hours work for you before applying.**

**Although this is a part-time position, there is great potential for more shifts**

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Post charges to the guest accounts that have not been posted or were incurred on the night audit shift
- Check to see that all charges are assigned to the appropriate departments
- Verify all account postings and balances
- Verify that room rates are correct and that guests are all entered in the system correctly
- Balance the day’s charges, making corrections as necessary
- Audit and balance reports from the day shifts
- Verify that all End of Day procedures have been performed by other departments
- Run End of Day computer functions and follow Night Audit checklist to make sure that it is all complete by the end of the shift
- Balance cash drawers and record receipts
- Function as a front desk agent especially in terms of check-in and check-out procedures

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school graduate or equivalent
- Previous hotel experience preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in customer service or hospitality
- Excellent communication and math skills
- Ability to learn computer functions and other on-the-job skills
- Experience in accounting procedures and general administrative skills
- Exceptional customer service skills

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
