**Hours**:Night Shift - Sunday to Thursday - 11:00PM to 7:30AM

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Determine the most efficient, cost-effective routes and freight movement which fully meet the customer’s requirements while maximizing profit.
- Review previous day's loads for success and failures in order to provide metrics.
- Investigate cause/effect of damages or shortages of consignments.
- Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery, reporting issues to warehousing and procurement.
- Provide outstanding customer service based on timely and accurate feedback to appropriate questions relative to assigned duties.
- Resolve issues with loading, unloading, appointments, unplanned accessorials and communicate all details to the appropriate parties.
- Analyze existing shipping processes for possible improvements and provides support for various implementation plans.

**Position Qualifications**:

- Previous load planning/dispatching experience **preferred** (preferably within the transportation industry).
- Strong geographical street level knowledge of the London and the surrounding area **preferred**.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well with high volumes and deadlines.
- Ability to take ownership of issues and problem analysis, decision making and resolution.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
