**RESTAURANT ASSISTANT MANAGER**

Incredible opportunity for a full-time Assistant Manager with Browns Restaurant Group

This position offers long-term leadership development and career advancement within the fastest-growing full-service restaurant company in Canada (Browns Restaurant Group/BRG). This person will be responsible for creating a positive and energetic work environment and should possess an entrepreneurial spirit.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

- Take an active role in service during all operating hours.
- Uphold our commitment to quality in service and brand standards with ongoing staff training.
- Maintain/support the high standard of quality represented in our Food & Beverage programs.
- Coordinate and conduct pre-shift meetings.
- HR Management including hiring, training, performance management and schedule writing.
- Maintain daily communication for Food, Wine, and Beverage details as they relate to service.
- Develop product knowledge through ongoing training, seminars, and tastings.
- Inventory and cost control management.
- Ability to foster a work culture where staff development and a job well done are recognized.
- Develop and maintain regular clientele.
- Increase guest check average.
- Balance daily cash and meet labor targets.

WHAT YOU BRING:

- At least 2 years of restaurant management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, guest service, and oral/written communication skills.
- Strong computer and office administration skills.
- The ability to train effectively and execute to deliver a great guest experience.
- A passion for food, beverage and all things related to the restaurant business.
- An ability to build and foster relationships, and commitment to people development.
- Current First Aid, Serving It Right & Food Safe Certification.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:
