As a Social Worker II, you will be a member of an inter-disciplinary team and provides a range of social work services to patients and their families. Your services may include: psychosocial assessment, resource-based interventions, individual, group and family treatment, risk screening, counselling, case management and coordination, transition or discharge planning, and prevention, promotion and public awareness activities.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Minimum one year Social Work experience in Adult Urban Acute Care. Experience as Social Worker in an adult urban acute care Emergency Department within the last year. Current BLS Provider - Heart and Stroke certificate.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Three years or more as a SW in urban adult acute care. Exp with crisis intervention, & grief/loss support. Experience with community resources & referral. Experience with discharge planning. Experience with Children’s Services. Experience working with homeless, addictions, & mental health. Familiarity with Advance Care planning, Financial Benefits programs & housing resources. Experience with Mat/Child portfolio. Education on crisis management & de-escalation. Experience at RGH.
