Retail Performance Sales Associate

_Northern Performance has been selling aftermarket automotive products and servicing customers with all their automotive needs since 1977. Conveniently located just north of the QEW at 1164 Walkers Line, Burlington, the retail store carries a complete range of aftermarket automotive performance parts and accessories and the service shop can accommodate any project, from an oil change to a complete engine. With almost 4000 sq/ft of space, we bring the best brands to car enthusiasts. From Eibach Springs, to Koni Shock, Borla exhaust systems and K&N Intake’s, we can raise the level of performance of any car. Northern Performance is also a ProCharger install Centre, so if a client wants to take their power to the next level, we have the Class “A” Mechanics to handle the job. In addition, we have access to all the top brands of wheels and tires, and provide our clients with safe and secure tire storage._
- We are eager to meet all of our customers’ needs from bumper to bumper, however our core lines address suspension, braking and under-car performance in general. Springs, shock absorbers, sway bars, brake rotors and pads, brake lines and cat-back exhaust systems form the backbone of our business. Our line card is rounded out with vendors specializing in interior and exterior accessories, car care products, under-hood performance, wheels and wheel hardware, lighting and much more. On top of the performance parts and upgrades, we provide general maintenance for all makes and models. _

We are looking to bring in a full time Retail Performance Sales Associate to our Burlington Store.

As a Retail Performance Sales Associate, responsibilities include:

- Assists walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggests companion requirements, offers specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line
- Pulls purchased parts from stock and orders parts that are not in stock
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other relevant information
- Assists service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process
- Notifies the Shop personnel and the customer that ordered parts have been received
- Works in a friendly, professional and efficient matter when working with all customers, both on the phone and in person as well as with the other departments
- Keeps current on new products and product updates

**Requirements**:

- Retail experience with a premium product

- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods
- Interest and familiarity with the Automotive Industry and automotive accessories is considered an asset

Position Details:
Full time: 40 hours per week, includes Saturday 9:00 to 6:00 and Sunday 12:00 to 5:00.
Our Retail Store is open 7 days per week, weekday shifts can range between the hours of 8:00 am and 7:00 pm.

Compensation: Annual Salary of $35,000 to $45,000 depending on retail experience and
industry knowledge, plus benefits.
