**Overview**

The Order Picker is responsible for picking products for outgoing shipment.

**Responsibilities**
- Pick and verify parts according to packing slip.
- Determine picking order according to customer ship date and courier pick-up.
- Confirm any outstanding shipments on order number list.
- Use Kinetic to check inventory, generate packing slips, print labels and transfer parts.
- Operate forklift to move skids and load trucks.
- General housekeeping of department.
- Complete associated paperwork.
- Assume shipping and other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 1 year experience in an order picker or similar role.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to use operate forklift, parts picker, and electric pallet jack.
- Ability to operate Forklift and other machinery (Forklift and Fall Arrest certifications/training is provided).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good customer service skills.
- Basic math and computer skills.

**Other Key Considerations**
- Previous forklift experience is an asset.

**Drug and Alcohol Testing**:CVS Controls is committed to maintaining a safe and drug free work environment. Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is a mandatory requirement for all prospective employees.

**Fitness-to-Work Testing**:A pre-employment fitness evaluation will be required for positions involving physical tasks.

**Wage**: Starts at $22.00 - $25.00/hr, and is based on skills and experience.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
