We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced **Payroll Administrator **to join our team You will support our bookkeeping team, managing end-to-end payroll processing for multiple small to medium-sized business clients.

**What You Will Be Doing**
- Collect, verify, and process payroll for clients with varying complexity, including calculations for vacation pay, overtime, bonuses, and commissions.
- Prepare payroll-related filings and supporting documentation, such as year-end tax statements, pension, Records of Employment and other statements
- Stay current on payroll legislation, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and provide clients with top-notch client service regarding their payroll needs.
- Prepare and balance period-end reports and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies
- May be responsible for the development or implementation of payroll policies, procedures or processes.
- Collaborate with the bookkeeping team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Utilize QBO and other software to perform payroll processing tasks, generate reports, and provide clients with relevant payroll information.
- Assist with some preparation of bookkeeping, as needed and time permits.

**What You Offer**
- Completed post-secondary education.
- At least 2 years of experience administering multiple or complex payrolls.
- Proficient knowledge of payroll concepts and regulations.
- Experience working with accounting and payroll programs. Experience with QBO an asset.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and self-management skills.
- Experience managing multiple books/ companies is very useful for this role.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$46,000.00 per year
