**About This Opportunity**

Redberry was proud to be awarded Burger King’s Franchisee of the Year in 2021 for North America. We are committed to continuing to grow this amazing brand. As such, Redberry has signed contract to build

168 Burger King locations and remodel 62 in the next five years. With these exciting and rapid growth plans, we are looking for a **District Manager **for the Burger King business. Reporting to a Sr District

Manager or Regional Manager, you will oversee and lead the execution of Redberry’s strategic vision as it relates to operating plans and standards. As a seasoned leader, you are agile and can adapt to changing needs and situations. You inspire our BK Operations Leaders to embody Redberry’s values, developing and leading their teams to deliver the best guest experience. You are self-motivated, driven by results, and believe in empowering others to drive growth and capability. This is a role for a leader with an entrepreneurial spirit who is energized in creating influential and impactful change at Redberry.

**How You Will Make an Impact**
- Developing and leading a motivated and competent area Operation Team(s);
- Ensuring restaurant cleanliness, food sanitation, health and safety;
- Leading the delivery of operational excellence and the “Customer Promise”; in order to optimize customer satisfaction and the brand image and to exceed established sales and restaurant operating profit objectives in the assigned area.

**What You Will Do**
- Conduct regular restaurant visits to engage with teams and assess operational & people excellence
- Own and execute assigned KPIs for assigned Region/Area
- Ensure every restaurant monitors guest satisfaction and opportunities are resolved in accordance with established standards and with a sense of urgency
- Consistently monitor and manage costs and labour through scheduling and inventory controls
- Ensure all restaurants operate at a high-quality level with emphasis on guest service while adhering to all health and safety, company standards, and procedures
- Assist in the development of sales building activities and evaluate the success of these activities.
- Assist in implementation of national promotional programs
- Recommend and implement local marketing tactics
- Manage assigned budget and labour dollars to maintain efficient operations
- Analyze and report weekly on controllables, sales and profits to ensure accurate and timely financial tracking.
- Collaborate and consult with Restaurant Managers, Above Restaurant Leaders, and controllers to address process gaps and barriers to sales performance and overall operations
- Facilitate and audit implementation of new processes, procedures, and initiatives
- Assist Restaurant Managers in balancing profits, required operational processes and the best interests of the employees
- Conduct monthly Financial, HR & Health & Safety audits on each restaurant
- Recruit, hire, train new managers and develop internal bench in direct area
- Ensure adherence to all training and certification requirements for all employees
- Motivate, coach and provide strong leadership to Restaurant Management to ensure successful operations
- Role model Redberry’s core values in every interaction
- Evaluate, recommend and/or implement changes to continuously improve guest satisfaction, restaurant operations, employee satisfaction, or financial results.

**What You Need To Perform In This Job**
- Some post-secondary education (e.g. hospitality, marketing, business) required. Completed degree or diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years quick service or restaurant experience
- 2-3 years leading multiple restaurant locations
- Strong communications skills and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and development skills to contribute to achievement of team goals and promote teamwork
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing
- Organized, innovative, flexible
- This role requires significant travel (min. 75% of time for restaurant visits)_
