**Shop Assistant - Modification Shop**

We are seeking an individual who loves to learn, is passionate about what they do, and loves a challenge. The right person for our team is hard-working, a team player, and wants to grow within the organization.

**About the Role**

As a Shop Assistant to the CNC Machine Operator, you will work closely with the Mod Shop team to meet customer requirements and delivery dates.

**Duties will include, but are not limited to**:

- Help load and unload boxes onto the machine
- Filling out shipping/ISO documents
- Packing finished products
- Light assembly work
- Clean the work area after the shift and maintain a neat working environment
- Clean and deburr machined parts and subassemblies using manual and machinery tools;

**Requirements**:

- Hardworking, punctual, and reliable
- A desire to learn about enclosure modifications and how to operate the Steinhauer machine. We are looking for someone who wants to learn and grow within the department.
- CNC machine operator experience beneficial but not required
- CAD software experience would be an asset
- Proficiency in reading/writing English
- Manual dexterity
- Capable of handling weight up to 45 lbs
- Attention to detail and a good sense of observation
- Sense of urgency
