Now Hiring - Stock Transfer Administrator, Batcher (12-month Contract)
Reporting to the Supervisor, Stock Transfer Operations; the Stock Transfer Administrator, Batcher is responsible for receiving, reviewing and validating of securities received for processing as well as other administrative duties within the Operations Group.
**Please note**: This role is an in office position in our Toronto office.
**Key Accountabilities**:
Timely processing, reviewing, invoicing and validating of securities and supporting documentation to ensure the requirements are in accordance with our policies and procedures.
Receiving and Distribution of items received from the mailroom or counter
Maintenance and administration of operations manual fees
Scanning and filing of signed batch tickets
Assembling physical debits processed via virtual remote processing
**Must have skills**:
High attention to accuracy and detail
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet turnaround times
Ability to analyze, problem solve and work independently with mínimal supervision
A working knowledge of the securities industry as it relates to back office administration
A willingness and ability to adapt to a changing environment and responsibilities
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and effectively communicate with peers and all levels of the company
Must have a flexible schedule to work overtime as required
**Qualifications**:
Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Completion of Canadian Securities Course and similar courses are preferred, but not essential
Previous experience in a securities environment
