**Position Summary**:
We are seeking all round; forming, framing and finishing carpenters to work on jaw dropping new projects and existing projects in West Van and Vancouver.

**Principal Job Responsibilities**:

- Work on all aspects from start to finish of new custom residential homes (forming, framing, finishing)
- Study site drawings and scope to ensure complete understanding of the job parameters.
- Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and safely: forming, framing, finishing, door and window install, clean up, and various other carpentry tasks.
- Electrical/ paint/ plumbing/ drywall are all subtrades
- you need to have a solid grasp of carpentry and only an understanding of other trades*
- Take instruction from Site Supervisor
- Communicate material, labour and safety needs to the Site Supervisor (anticipate those needs as far out as possible)
- Ensure breaks do not exceed allotted time
- **MUST HAVES**:

- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Must be able to use hand tools such as drills, saws, hammers, etc.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle that can be used for company business or personal use.

You have:

- recently achieved your Red Seal/ TQ and familiar with BC Building Code including recent updates in various Greater Vancouver Area municipalities.
- 5 years' experience as a carpenter from forming to finishing.
- your own reliable vehicle and tools
- work well independently and communicate well with site manager, possess conscientious disposition and are sensitive to a high level of care and client servicing
- willingness to work at multiple sites in the Greater Vancouver and N Shore Areas

**Salary**: $27.00-$40.00 per hour
