Apprentice Glazier

Semiahmoo Glass is a well established commercial glazing contractor based out of Surrey BC. We specialize in aluminum window systems, including curtainwalls, storefronts, and strip windows, along with skylights, total vision, and glass handrails, and we're looking to hire additional members for our team.

We're currently looking to hire glazing apprentices and people new to glazing, on a full time basis. Employment includes medical benefits after 3 months, paid overtime, project specific driving allowance, and paid parking. Power tools are provided, however we expect glaziers to have their own hand tools.

Competitive wages offered based off of experience level.

Experienced glaziers should have knowledge about aluminum window systems, their fabrication and installation, along with membrane and flashing. Other assets are experience with service work with window replacements and door hardware, experience with operating man lifts, training in fall protection and machinery, and the ability to drive a truck with a trailer.

Glaziers should have a valid drivers licence, and a desire to learn and excel in our trade, and be flexible with a variety of tasks, including fabrications of frames, installation of frames and glass, along with membrane and flashing. Training is on the job, and apprenticeship sponsorship is available. Glazing experience is not needed.

We're looking for team members who have a positive attitude, are willing to travel to jobsites around the lower mainland, and are looking for full time, and long term work. Our hours are 7:00am to 3:15pm, Monday to Friday.
