We are looking for an experienced **VFD and Electrical Production Manager** to join our team of professionals.

**What you will be doing**:

- Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
- Monitor production to resolve issues.
- Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel.
- Determine amount of necessary resource’s, personnel, and materials.
- Enforce health and safety precautions.
- Achieve a good working relationship with CSA and UL and work with their standards and requirements

**What we need from you**:

- Graduate of Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Technologist or Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrical
- Experience working with controls
- Valid Driver’s License
- Project Management experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Industrial Automation
- Knowledge of VFD, Servo and DC Drives
- Thorough knowledge and experience commissioning VFD and DC Drives
- Experience with AC Servos, an asset
- Medium Voltage VFD experience, an asset
- PLC/HMI programming experience an asset
- Rockwell PLC/RSLogix, Siemens, Schneider, Mitsubishi, and Omron
- Experienced setting up, commissioning and troubleshooting DeviceNet, ControlNet and Ethernet/IP networks
- Instrumentation experience
- Must have effective and professional communication skills, verbal and written, with ability to converse to other technical people and engineers
- Ability to work efficiently and reliably with mínimal supervision (project management)
- Must be able to work throughout Canada and the USA, if required
- Must be able to work the occasional overtime and/or be available for on-call rotation, if required
- Experience working with MS Office, with SharePoint and Access an asset
