**Position Overview**:

- Seeking people for various positions related to gas distribution pipe installation, including Supervisors, Fusers and Fuser Helpers, Operators, Labourers.
- Ensuring projects are completed safely and on time, following client and company safety procedures
- Project location is in Edmonton and area, as well as Westlock.
- Work hours are typically 10 hours per day, 6 days per week
- We are a union contractor (Labourers Local 92, Fusers UA488 and Operators Local 955). If you are not currently a member of one of those unions, we would require you to join. With that comes benefits being paid by the employer, including health and welfare, pension, and training.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure work is completed efficiently
- Enforce compliance to all client and company safety policies and procedures, and Occupational Health and Safety legislation
- Ensure all the work permits and required documentation is in place and followed
- Review safe work plans and complete hazard assessment prior to job commencement
- Participate in daily and weekly safety meetings
- Ensure quality plans and/or requirements are adhered to for all work performed

**Qualifications**:

- Previous gas distribution work experience required
- Proficient skills with ground disturbance, locating skills, fusion, pressure testing, energizing gas distribution pipelines, swamping, excavating and backfilling with backhoe and mini-excavators in congested areas (skills required would be dependent on position)
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Ability to work in congested areas with live cables, conduits, gas lines, and other sensitive utilities
