**About the role**
- CapU’s School of Motion Picture Arts is dedicated to inspiring and training a new generation of Canadian talent in the film, TV, animation, gaming and motion picture industries.

2nd Year Screen Writing
- Teaching up to 2 cohorts (approx. 25 students each) of screenwriting, per week for 15 weeks
- Screenwriting is taught in 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of MOPA in a connected manner from year to year. All screenwriting courses are taught in the Fall Term with one outcome being the creation of short screenplays to be considered for production int the Spring Term.

Film Crafts for Actors
- Teaching up to 2 cohorts (approx. 25 students each) of film crafts, per week for 15 weeks
- Course content includes and is not limited to:

- Introduce basic camera, lighting, sound and post production techniques to enable acting students to create effective audition tapes, scene studies and demo reels.

**Experience, competencies & qualifications**
- A Master’s degree - MA, MFA plus a combination of professional, educational and instructional experience.
- A current practice and in-depth knowledge of screen, story and structure
- WGC or WGA membership
- Proven ability to work and collaborate effectively as a part of a team
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience or a significant number of broadcast, web based or the platforms
- Produced content on a variety of platforms (Theatrical, Streaming, etc.)
- A proven record of teaching or training excellence
