**WHAT YOU’LL GET FROM US**
- Well-rounded experience working in the marketing department working directly with a group of motivated team members

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Include but are not limited to)**
- Execute community outreach strategies created with the team
- Contact and communicate with festivals, events, companies, and other external partnerships
- Conduct research for various purposes such as market, competitor, content, and hiring research
- Edit articles on Wordpress for SEO and readability scores
- Cross post articles and other content across various social media platforms
- Correspond with students and teachers about testimonials, special offers, and more.
- Create Facebook and Eventbrite events and write copy as needed
- Assist marketing team with creating social media posts, managing social media accounts, and more
- Attend and participate in weekly marketing meetings to strategize upcoming social media campaigns

**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experience with formal content writing
- Working knowledge of various digital programs such as Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Wordpress, and social media platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English Literature, Journalism or other relevant fields.
- Experience with video script writing (optional)
- Experience with basic video editing (optional)

**Compensation**:Commensurate with experience

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week
