**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Team Leadership**:

- Recruit, train, and manage store staff to enhance their performance and develop their skills to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Foster a positive and motivated team culture.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

2. **Store Operations**:

- Ensure the store operates efficiently, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Handle scheduling to ensure proper staffing levels.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee cash handling procedures.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to create an inviting shopping environment.

3. **Customer Experience**:

- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Train staff to deliver a high-quality shopping experience.

4. **Sales and Financial Goals**:

- Meet or exceed sales targets and manage the store budget effectively.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Implement promotional activities to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- Collaborate with upper management on strategic planning and operational goals.

5. **Inventory Management**:

- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and merchandising products effectively, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize shrinkage.

6. **Community Engagement**:

- Build relationships with local customers and businesses to enhance the store’s reputation and community presence.
- Represent the store at local events and initiatives as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in retail management or a similar leadership role.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for customer service and a commitment to fostering a positive shopping experience.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in a small business retail environment.
- Knowledge of health and nutritional supplements considered an asset.
- Previous experience in retail management or a supervisory role is preferred.
- Strong skills in cashiering, cash handling, and administrative tasks.
- Proven ability to sell products effectively while meeting customer needs.
- Excellent math skills for managing budgets and analyzing sales data.
- Familiarity with retail sales techniques and best practices is highly desirable.
