JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director, Talent and Culture and collaborating with Internal stakeholders, the Coordinator, Employee Communications and Events will be responsible for contributing to and driving the employee communications plans and engagement events to enhance, connect and influence our employee’s experience and engagement. This includes managing and developing content on the company intranet, as it relates to the employee experience, engagement and broader organizational announcements. Supporting all company events, quarterly Town Halls and other engagement activities in collaboration with internal partners.
This role will partner closely with the marketing department and will understand all digital channels in a fast growth culture.
As The Coordinator Employee Communications and Events
HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:
- Create communication campaigns and other initiatives to engage employees - both digital and traditional
- Administration of all employee communication channels
- Responsible for the administration of executive leader
- employee communications
- Coordination of all employee engagement events in partnership with various internal and external stakeholders, including quarterly town halls, and other company-wide engagement events
- Understand and align the business needs with the target audience
- Ensure all internal employee and external communications are aligned with company life cycles, branding guidelines, corporate culture and values
- Determine effectiveness and provide recommendations on Employee communications strategies, best practices and other legislative requirements as required.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- A diploma/degree in, communications, event planning or equivalent experience
- Experience with employee communication execution and employee engagement events coordination
- A storyteller with articulate writing/editing expertise as it relates to a variety of marketing or communication materials, supported by a portfolio of relevant project and work assignments
- Experience with content management systems and digital communications
- Experience with communications and webinar software ( Company Intranet, Poppulo, Zoom, MS Teams) is an asset
- Ability to understand business drivers and various audience needs
- Solid project management skills with proven ability to collaborate with others and utilize resources across the company to achieve an objective
