**Position: Health & Safety Instructor (First Aid CPR)**
**Employment: Full-time or Part-time**
**Location**:Training Centres - Edmonton, AB**

**Compensation: $54,000 - 62,400/year FT ($26 - 30/hour PT)**

As a Health & Safety Instructor (First Aid CPR) your **key responsibilities** are:

- Teaching students through discussions, provided audio-visual presentations, and hands-on equipment training
- Preparing, administering, and marking tests
- Organizing, filing, and submitting digital and hardcopy student records in a timely manner
- Participate in instructor training on an ongoing basis
- Participate in team meetings and development workshops
- Occasionally travel to other southern Ontario training locations
- Certification **as an Instructor** with the Canadian Red Cross
- Background in health care, adult education, occupational health & safety and/or an emergency service related field
- Strong interest educating people on the importance and value of health & safety training
- Self-starter who is able to work independently, while also contributing to a team
- Strong presentation and adult-engagement skills
- Valid Ontario’s Driver Licence - occasional travel by car for work
- Able to legally work in Canada
