**Financial Analyst**

Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Analyst is responsible for maintaining, interpreting and communicating costing and financial information for multiple business units within the PADM Group of Companies. The Financial analyst will provide information to management as a part of the financial reporting process, as well as supporting divisional leaders with financial and performance analysis for their respective divisions.

**Responsibilities include**:

- The creation and maintenance of financial analysis models and rubrics;
- Supporting the budgeting, and sales process by providing needed analysis.
- Supporting operational excellence initiatives to drive lean efficiency by providing productivity analysis support;
- Costing preparation, analysis and recommendations;
- Assist with monthly cycle counts and the annual inventory counts;
- Maintain and communicate inventory (and provision) reports including costing;
- Maintain capital asset continuity schedules;
- Generate dashboards to track finance and operational metrics (KPI);
- Assisting with various reporting and presentations;
- Monthly reporting & analysis of production costs and expense variances;
- Weekly analysis and review of Work in Progress (WIP) and Goods in Transit transactions;
- Support Controller and Engineering team with SR & ED processes, data collection and claim filing;

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of three years of experience in a Financial/Costing Analyst role in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration;
- CPA designation;
- Demonstrated understanding of cost accounting concepts and analysis;
- Above average skills in Microsoft Excel;
- Experience with ERP software, specifically Epicor, would be an asset;
- Experience working with Access and Crystal Reports would be an asset.
- Skill in the use of statistical modelling tools such as regression analysis;
- Demonstrated ability to build analytical tools and models;
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and make sound recommendations pertaining to organization effectiveness;
- Strong time management and organization skills,
- Effective communication both verbally and written;
- The ability to work as part of a team while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Some Travel required
