**Job description**

1. Hang parts, load tables/baskets, grind.

3. Properly mask parts and prepare metal and equipment.

4. Understand blueprints and specifications.

5. Record appropriate information (cleaning times, load, part numbers, temperatures, humidity levels, sample, thickness, solution checks, viscosity and reaction times; complete paint cards; keep flow charts up-to-date)

6. Ensure parts and materials are properly identified with GR numbers and material type.

7. Check for water break-free; visually check for proper finish; repair/touch up surfaces

8. Ensure that finishes conform to drawings and specifications.

9. Ensure containers properly identified with GR numbers and expiration dates; verify shelf life.

10. Test paint thickness and gloss requirements with gauges and/or meters; check thickness with weight test;

12. Buff, clean, strip parts; sand, putty, alodine; stencil

13. Bake parts in oven and ensure dry times.

14. Operate overhead crane.

15. Attention to detail is essential, must be organized and complete paperwork accurately, must understand schedules and work organization; ensure parts are moved to stages within proper time frames.

16. May perform other related duties as required by the company
