**_ Position Overview_**

**_ What you will do_**
- Prepare test plans
- Work closely with project team members to define and refine testing requirements and acceptance criteria
- Ensure traceability to solution requirements and specifications to ensure optimal test coverage
- Prepare and maintain test data
- Create, execute and maintain automated and manual test scripts
- Log defects in defect tracking tools
- Manage defects through the defect lifecycle
- Report test results to stakeholders
- Plan, monitor, and control testing activities and tasks during User Acceptance Testing

**_ Qualifications _**
- 5+ years experience in software testing, preferably working in an agile team
- Experience working with modern web technologies such as JSON, HTTP2, and WebSocket’s
- Experience testing modern RESTFUL APIs
- Experience with modern testing frameworks for Node, Python, React native, React is considered an asset
- Experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC), Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) and Health Level 7 (HL7) is considered an asset
- Experience testing cloud-native, scalable, and highly available distributed systems is considered an asset
- Experience with Amazon Web Services is considered an asset
- CAST, CSQA, or ISTQB certification is considered an asset
- Comfortable communicating with other developers, clinical, and operations staff to solve open-ended problems
- Interest in doing mission-oriented work especially in the healthcare space
