**JOB SUMMARY**

To oversee, direct, and be responsible for all shipment contracts. Work independently, with dispatch and other staff as well as with Management to ensure all customers needs are met.**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Duties and Responsibilities**ADMINISTRATION - 70%**
- Take orders from customer and create Probills
- Coordinate with dispatch to ensure full utilization of all trucks when possible
- Ensure all required information is accurate and rating is included in every Probill
- Support Accounts Receivable to ensure payment terms are adhered to
- Track necessary KPI to ensure the company is moving towards targets
- Complete billing and scanning of documents to ensure timely invoicing to customers
- Other duties assigned as needed

**CONTRACTING LOADS OUT - 20%**
- Determine the freight and equipment required
- If no trucks are available, post load to Load Link to determine if any alternate carriers are in the area
- Negotiate rate and ensure profitability for each load

**SALES - 10%**
- Engage with existing customers to ensure our service matches their changing needs
- Look for new carriers to ensure service on all brokered loads
- One shot quotes for brokered loads, ensuring profitability
- Assist in RFP submissions

**EXPERIENCE**
- Two years of successful industry experience considered an asset. Dealing professionally with customers, analyzing and setting up shipments.

**EDUCATION**
- Minimum high school diploma and a post-secondary diploma or certificate (2 years or longer program), preferably in business or warehouse management; equivalencies may be considered

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- 80% or more of sedentary work
- Less than 25% of time bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, carrying, reaching, and walking

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
