**Our Story**:Bar Down Cookies was started by a local brother and sister team that wanted to find a way to give back to their community in the sweetest way possible. We are entirely themed after hockey as we proudly donate a percentage to KidSport Vancouver, a local charity that helps children and youth to participate in sports when their families face financial barriers. We specialize in offering our BIG, gourmet brookies which are the perfect hybrid between a brownie and a cookie that offer crispy edges and chewy melt-in-your-mouth centres.

**Compensation**:
$16.75 + sales commission

Sweet perks (literally): Complimentary brookies

**Schedule**:

- Shifts are primarily on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays due to the nature of Farmer’s Markets.

**Daily Tasks**:

- Pick up the market equipment and brookies from the bakery
- Commute to and from the market
- Set up the booth at the market in the predetermined layout
- Interact with and educate customers about our brand’s story
- Engage in sales efforts
- Taking down the booth at the end of the market
- Returning the market equipment to the bakery
- Ensuring that the market display remains visually pleasing

**Requirements**:

- Must be available to work weekends.
- Must have a positive attitude, self-motivated and offers excellent customer service
- Must be reliable and consistent

**‘Bonus Marks’**:

- Have your Food Safe Level 1 (or be willing to obtain it)
- Have previous knowledge about baking
- Are a sports fan, with a preference for hockey (Go Canucks, Go)
- Have access to a personal vehicle, with preference to a larger vehicle (SUV, etc)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $16.75 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
