**Job description**:
We are looking the best talent to growth our **Accounting and Finance Department in Canada**. Your experience, knowledge and commitment will help us to face our challenges.
You will be supporting our Canadian and northamerican operations as **Accounting Regional Manager.**

**Your main repsonsabilities**:

- Assign projects and direct staff with the managers of the accounting services, to ensure completeness and accuracy of the established objectives.
- Be accountable and coordinates the monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities, according to the planning at the group level, with a result obligation.
- Ensure the production of the checklist and scope synthesis.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:

- Month and end-year closing process
- Bookkeeping complex transactions (local GAAP for example)
- Taxes declarations
- Accounts payable/receivable
- General ledger
- Payroll and utilities
- Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- Capital assets reconciliations
- Performing accounting checklist
- Fixed asset activity
- Debt activity
- Cash reconciliation & management
- Being involved and support for the annual audit.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles Improving accounting processes and tools used for the scope is in charge of and at the group level.

**Qualifications**:

- At least 5 years of experience as Accountant
- has held a similar position in another company before
- knowledge of both Canada and USA accounting specificities required
- Excellent communication skills in English and French
