Machinist - Afternoon Shift

**Position Summary**: You will be responsible for programming, running and monitoring computer-numeric-controlled machines, which are used to make stainless steel parts.

**Hours of Work**:
**_Straight _**_Afternoon Shift: _** Monday to Thursday 3:45pm - 1:45am with a paid 30-minute lunch for a total of 40 hours per week. Premiums provided.

**Reports To**:Supervisor, Machine Shop/Fab

**Essential Functions**:
Position requirements include, but are not limited to:

- Read and understand blueprint designs
- Set up and operator CNC machinery for production
- CNC programming knowledge
- Measure and verify all work to blueprint drawings
- Ability to run manual mill and lathe
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment
- Complete routine maintenance on the machines
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Other duties, as assigned

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:

- N/A

**Organizational Relationships**:

- Must interface effectively and regularly with all levels of the organization

- Machine Tool Technology Program
- General Machinist
- CNC Programming

**Language Skills**:

- English

**Computer Skills**:

- Mastercam
- CNC
