We are recruiting for a Lead Hand for our afternoon shift. The Lead Hand will manage a production line, ensuring efficiency, quality and food safety standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the supervisor in training new production team members.
- Provide day to day tasks and coaching to team members during the afternoon shift.
- Assign and move team members to different production areas, as required.
- Complete paperwork for quality and production controls.
- Communicate and coordinate with other Lead Hands for scheduling and production requirements.
- Follow PPE requirements.
- Maintain and follow quality, food safety, and health and safety procedures.
- Support continuous improvement process.
- Other duties, as directed by management.

Requirements and Physical Capabilities:

- Strong leadership skills.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines.
- Good English written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to work in a team setting and also with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to work the afternoon shift, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work long hours with repetitive tasks.
- Ability to handle physically demanding work.
- Ability to bend, stand and lift for long extended periods.
- Ability to work in a cold refrigerated environment.

Qualifications:

- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- High school diploma, post-secondary education, as asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in food processing setting.
- Previous lead hand experience, preferred.

Transportation:

- Own transportation required.

Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
