Prepare files for hearings as needed, representing clients at hearings as assigned, contacting clients directly for instructions when needed, completing the file docket with all notes, ensuring and maintaining files while in your possession, returning files to office upon completion of hearing
- Mediating with Tenants or Tenant representatives without hearings as required
- Opening new client files, confirming client ID and preparing Retainer agreements where necessary
- Opening all new files in TM, confirming conflict checks, completing file docket
- Process requests for all notices (N1, N2,N3 N4, N5, N6, N7, N8, N11, N12, N13), giving advice, amending, preparing and serving, copying clients with Notices, updating TM, sending file to billing
- Communicating orally and in writing with tenants or tenant representatives as required
- Preparing, filing and serving letters as requested, copying clients, opening or adding to file
- Preparing, filing and serving affidavits as requested, copying clients, opening or adding to file
- Updating all activities on files in TM and file docket, checking ticklers and meeting deadlines
- General office duties as directed
- Maintaining Paralegal license, including CPD, abiding by Professional Code of Conduct, following LSO by-laws and communicating with LSO as required
