Halifax, Canada Sports Medicine - Orthopaedic Surgery Full time

The Sports Medicine team in the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Research Coordinator to join our research-driven and patient-focused team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a environment dedicated to advancing sports medicine research, focusing on orthopedic and sports-related injuries.

**Position Requirements**
- **Education**: Master’s degree in a health-related field with at least one year of relevant research experience beyond graduate studies; PhD applicants with applicable experience are welcome.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and statistical software (e.g., SPSS). Skills in data mining, data management, and large database analysis preferred. Familiarity with 3D printing and computer programming is a bonus.
- **Publication Skills**: Experience in manuscript preparation for peer-reviewed journals is preferred.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Oversee data quality by managing data input, developing data audits, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain multiple clinical research databases, including data on patient demographics, assessments, and outcomes.
- Engage directly with patients, including assisting with screening, recruitment, informed consent, and scheduling, while ensuring patient confidentiality.
- Coordinate activities and research rotations for colleagues, students, and fellows within the Sports Medicine Fellowship Program.
- Support manuscript preparation and submission to peer-reviewed orthopedic journals.
- Act as a central member of a team dedicated to advancing patient care through research.

**Job Type**: Full-time

Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour
