**About the Organization**
- The Strengthening Transitions in Care Lab is based at IWK Health. The overall mission of the research lab is to develop and evaluate interventions to improve transitions in care for patients and families. Using a collaborative, patient-centred approach to understand how children and families navigate transitions in care, our research aims to improve outcomes and lead to sustainable health system changes.

- and intra-provincial healthcare policies in the Canadian Maritime provinces impact children with medical complexity (CMC) and their families.

**Job Summary**
- Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Research Coordinator (RC) will be responsible for managing daily operations of the project, including conducting an environmental scan, preparing and submitting ethics-related items, data access requests, oversight of data management, regulatory submissions, and coordinating research activities across provinces. The RC will work directly with the study Research Assistant and other research team members.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee the execution of research activities including facilitation of project meetings, scheduling, agenda preparation, documentation and communication with multiple research teams members across institutions.
- Ensure compliance with institutional and funding agency guidelines for data security and ethical research conduct.
- Coordinate access requests for health administrative data across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island, and oversee data linkage and ensure accuracy in data handling and analysis.
- Coordinate and assist with interprovincial data analysis where required.
- Conduct an environmental scan of provincial healthcare policies related to children with medical complexities.

**Note**
- The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work and remote work) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.

**Required Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Nursing, Health Administration, Epidemiology, or a related discipline with at least two years of experience in research coordination, particularly in health services research, policy analysis, or working with administrative health data.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
