**Head Gardener position at Green Ideas**

**You’ll be**:

- Representing Green Ideas in a professional, respectful capacity at all times to clients, vendors, employees
- Ensuring quality control for all aspects of a project
- Following instruction and meeting project timelines,
- Shift from approximately 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (earlier/later/additional hours may be required)
- Leading a team of 1-3 people in maintenance, gardening, softscaping and related tasks, training and mentoring where necessary
- Estimating for and pick up/delivery of soil, mulch, etc.
- Occasional assistance in other projects including hardscaping and construction
- Maintaining daily time/material/photo records pertaining to assigned work, including receipt collection
- Punctual retrieval/return of truck, trailer and equipment at yard (Spryfield area)
- Punctual crew pick up at designated location for transport to job sites
- Following industry-standard safety guidelines and company policy
- Performing other related duties, as assigned
- Have HORTICULTURE EXPERIENCE 3+ YEARS
- Have own reliable transportation
- Have valid NS driver's license and trailering experience
- Take pride in your work

- Are qualified to work in, and are currently living in Canada

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 50 per week
