**Overview**

We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and service-driven Café Supervisor to help lead daily operations at our bakery café. This role is ideal for someone with experience in hospitality who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for great food and coffee, and enjoys supporting and motivating a team.

**Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership**
- Supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff during shifts
- Ensure all team members are supported and working efficiently
- Assist in onboarding and training new staff
- Foster a positive and professional team environment

**Customer Service**
- Maintain a high level of customer service at all times
- Handle customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and care
- Lead by example during peak hours with a hands-on approach

**Operations & Floor Management**
- Oversee daily opening and closing procedures
- Ensure the café is clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Monitor product presentation, food quality, and service standards
- Maintain a clear understanding of café offerings and daily specials

**Sales & Cash Handling**
- Operate and troubleshoot the POS system (e.g., Square)
- Perform end-of-day cash-outs and reconcile tips
- Ensure accurate transactions and cash handling procedures

**Inventory & Ordering**
- Monitor stock levels of retail, pastry, and café items
- Communicate inventory needs to kitchen and management
- Help receive and organize deliveries

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years of supervisory or team lead experience in a café, restaurant, or retail setting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Calm and confident in high-pressure situations
- Strong sense of accountability and professionalism
- FoodSafe Level 1 and Serving It Right (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for hospitality, coffee, and quality baked goods

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
