Full-Time Permanent Medical Receptionist, 40-44 hours per week, Monday to Friday shifts.

Kawartha Cardiology is a busy, progressive facility that houses 7 Cardiologists, over 80 clinical and support staff to serve a large geographical population. Our facility offers an extensive range of services including specialized programs in vascular, stroke, diabetes, and cardiac care.

**Role Summary**:
**Qualifications**:

- Medical Secretary diploma from a recognized program or a minimum of 2 years working experience within a physician or medical office environment.
- Proficiency in an EMR system, Microsoft Office & Word programs and the ability to operate office equipment (photocopier, scanner & fax).
- Understanding & Compliance of confidentiality and privacy under the PHIPA.
- Knowledge of medical terminology & abbreviations.
- Flexibility & Adaptability to workflow and physician schedule.
- Excellent customer service skills, pleasant positive manner.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize work.
- Ability to deal professionally, collaboratively, and effectively with physicians, team members and the public.
- Ability to manage multiple demands within specified timelines.
