We are looking for a passionate Solar Sales Consultant to join our growing energy technology company. As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will have the first contact with our customers, providing them with information about our products and the benefits of going solar. Your duties will include analyzing the customers’ needs, calculating resources, preparing quotes, demonstrating our products, and providing after-sales support. You will also be required to visit customer sites.
To ensure success as a Solar Sales Consultant, you should have excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for energy conservation, clean energy, the environment, and a solid sales background. Ultimately, a top-class Solar Sales Representative builds a rapport with customers and provides them with tailor-made energy solutions that best suit their needs.
**Responsibilities**:
- Help to generate leads and maintain weekly/monthly sales targets
- Promptly follow up on inquiries, leads, and prospective customers
- Meeting with customers at the office and out at site locations.
- Providing customers with information about the company's energy products and solutions.
- Demonstrating company products and solutions in a working environment.
- Gathering information to accurately and identify the customers’ solar needs.
- Selecting energy products and solutions to best suit the customers’ needs.
- Preparing or reviewing designs for the customers’ solar installation.
- Creating fully customized energy packagers
- Providing customers with quotes, sales orders, shipping information, and incentive information.
- Providing after-sales service, including courtesy calls and site visits.
- Following up on sales quotes from other members of the sales team.
- Completing sales order paperwork.
- Generating potential leads for new accounts.
**Requirements**:
- Previous work experience as a Solar Sales Consultant.
- Good knowledge of energy solutions and installations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and a friendly disposition.
- Ability to relate technical information in layman's terms.
- Ability to travel and work irregular hours.
- Basic knowledge of sales and Office software.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Access to own vehicle

Pay: $35,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 35 per week
