PLEASE NOTE - this position requires the bookkeeper to work in-house. This is not suitable for working virtually. The business is located in the Langley Township.
Responsibilities include:
- Track the company's sales and expenses.
- Bank & credit card reconciliations
- Maintain accounts for customers and suppliers (AP/AR)
- Payroll services for 30+ employees, which is done semi-monthly
- Prepare routine financial reports as requested by the owner
- Prepare and submit government remittances (GST/Payroll)
- File away paperwork including receipts, invoices and filed tax forms.
Qualifications and Required Skills include:
- 5+ years experience doing bookkeeping
- 2+ years experience doing bookkeeping in hospitality or a related industry
- Have a strong understanding of Sage
- Ability to time manage, prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines
- Work well with mínimal supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Must be proficient in English
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Freelance
Part-time hours: 16 per week
**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
