Alliance Manager

**Responsibilities**
- Understanding of Veeam’s primary sales engines - SMB, Commercial, Enterprise and Cloud and where Veeam’s solutions fit within these sales engines in alignment with Alliance solutions.
- In collaboration with the Veeam Partner Managers, increase sales pipeline andamp; develop Veeam Sales opportunities with key strategic channel partners and Alliance partners such as but not limited to Microsoft, AWS, Google, HPE, Cisco, Lenovo, NetApp and Pure Storage.
- Collaboration with Sales teams in the development and execution of territory plan(s) for territory growth, enablement and alignment, and engagement plan with Strategic Alliances and Partners.
- Collaborate with the others Alliance Managers andamp; Partner Managers to execute on programmatic sales initiatives in Canada
- Map Canadian Alliance partners to our sales and technical teams so they get to know each other and increase sales collaboration
- Working closely with Veeam Territory Managers, Inside Account Managers and Channel partners on closing all Alliance Deals within the territory, as required
- Drive joint Veeam/Alliance messaging on why customers, partners, and the Alliance reps should consider Veeam solutions
- Understand and communicate Veeam’s “Solution Value Prop” as it relates to Alliance and our product offerings.
- Create, execute, and manage programs internally and with Veeam and our Partners to grow the Alliance business.
- Have a strong understanding of the Channel Partner and Alliances sales processes and engagement models.
- Perform weekly reporting on activities, key meetings focused on new sales opportunity development and primary enablement programs.
Track and report overall Veeam Alliance joint initiatives.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent years of experience
- 5-10 years of experience in technology sales
- Sales experience in relevant industries of backup, cloud, data center a plus
- Strong background with enterprise hardware sales organizations and the VAR partners that sell enterprise hardware, software, and services.
- Understanding of Veeam offerings a plus.
- Experience with Veeam Alliance Partners
- Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities
- Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment
- Proven record of enabling a network of partners (both Alliance and strategic partners)
- Proven track record of executing a sales/channel strategy
- Must be a high performer with a proven track record of consistently exceeding established goals and objectives
- Demonstrated experience in leading for results, as well as strong organizational, communications and interpersonal skills.
- Proven strategic thinking and strong cross-functional collaboration experience is essential.
- Experience using CRM and communication platforms.
