On behalf of our client in the aviation industry, we are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team. The company has undergone significant growth and as such they require a full time dedicated and experienced HR professional to further develop the HR function. A description of the role can be found below:

- Develop, implement and maintain corporate policies, procedures and best practices
- Define HR mandate, forecast service needs and manage departmental budget
- Provide guidance and support to management, supervisors and employees on employee relation issues
- Work with departments to establish recruiting and training programs
- Provide leadership in “organizational development” in conjunction with senior management
- Consult with senior managers on succession planning, assessment and development of high potentials
- Build a needs assessment and prioritization framework for the development and implementation of programs covering recruitment, performance management, retention, succession planning, employee relations, development, etc.
- Develop effective and innovative policies around human resources issues including compensation, retention, succession planning, and employee development
- Compile salary survey data, including job analysis, job descriptions, position and salary grading and approval procedures
- Coordinate the annual salary review process
- In conjunction with Payroll and Accounting, coordinate pension and benefit plans, advising employees on program and dealing with suppliers on issues
- Plan and direct administration of benefit programs as required; participate in the negotiation of contracts with benefits vendors
- Oversee and may participate in new employee on-boarding, developing new policies and practices as appropriate. Ensure required resources are available to new employees on their start date.
- Responsible for internal employee communications and lead company-wide recognition programs and team-building initiatives
- Other related duties as assigned.
