Position Summary:

This will be a hybrid role based out of our Richmond, BC location.

Salary range for this position is between $120,000 - $160,000 annually, with incentive bonus and benefits.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support effective business decision making by providing accurate financial reporting, margin analytics, cost management initiatives plus various other analytics
- Interpretation/communication of financial information with non-financial peers
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of client billings and collections
- Preparation and maintenance of annual budgets as well as quarterly and weekly forecasting
- Responsible for client audits and contract analysis
- Assists the Canada Controller with projects and assignments including process improvements and standardization
- Ensures compliance with standard and local operating procedures; provides recommendations and implementation of internal controls and continuous improvement initiative
- Management of regional administrative team
- Ability to travel 15-20%

**Requirements**:

- An Accounting Designation (CA, CMA, CGA)
- 10+ years of progressive experience in the industrial or commercial sector
- Strong business acumen and ability to “roll up your sleeves” to dig into the details
- Understanding of, and adherence, to contractual obligations
- A full understanding of project-based accounting
- Experience with analytics and the interpretation of such for the purpose of business & process improvement recommendations
- Strong leadership/managerial experience
- Effective and respectful communication skills
- Strong computer/systems skills; advanced excel as well as system transition/integration experience is an asset
- Wide-ranging knowledge around commodity tax and payroll rules and regulations
