**Overview**
Craigowan Golf Club is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Wedding & Event Planner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of wedding and other events, ensuring that each celebration is tailored to the clients vision while staying within budget. Your exceptional organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively will be crucial in managing vendor relationships and client expectations. **Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget for their wedding day.
- Research and recommend, catering options, and vendors such as florists, photographers, and entertainment.
- Develop detailed timelines and checklists to ensure all aspects of the wedding are executed smoothly.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure the best rates and services.
- Manage budgets effectively, providing clients with regular updates on expenditures.
- Coordinate logistics on the wedding day, including setup, vendor management, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address any concerns throughout the planning process.
- Upsell additional services or products that enhance the overall wedding experience.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in event planning or a related field; experience in weddings is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on relationship building.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective time management skills to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management related to event planning.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Familiarity with hotel and restaurant operations is a plus.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
